Eaton Socon 0, Great Shelford 3

7th March 2015 :: Premier League Cup

Eaton produced a brave performance but left empty handed. Shelford with the wind against them restricted Eaton to few chances in an even first half. But the main talking point was a Gavin Batt header, ruled out for an apparent foul on the keeper. The second half was end to end, Kingsbury was at the fore with several close shaves. The game went into extra time, with Eaton forced to withdraw the impressive Phil Jarrett this forced a shuffle with the powerhouse. Batt moved into the back line, Girdlestone was introduced along with Asa and Josh Haynes. Shelford went through with two first half goals, and a third in the last minute. This was a good display with Grimes and Banbury nominated as sponsors man of the match.
