The first team made it five wins out of five in the Cambs Kershaw Premier with an outstanding performance at home to Lakenheath. In driving rain and strong winds Eaton went behind on 12 minutes when Catchpole got clear of the Eaton defence to score. However the Lakenheath's lead was short lived when on 16 minutes great work by Kays saw an original effort by Kingsbury saved but he followed up to head home the equaliser.

Then the turning point of the game came on 25 minutes when a shot on the edge of the Lakenheath area saw a defender put his hand up and the ball struck his hand. The referee gave a penalty and Kingsbury scored his second. Eaton then played ten minutes of the best football of the season. Firstly Lewis Gordine-Francis scored with a flick over his head and the keeper just watched the ball sail over his head. Two minutes later a great ball from Kingsbury saw Gooch break clear and beat the keeper to make it 4-1. Then the goal of the game which started at the back. Morris then slipped the ball to Man of the match Kingsbury whose back heel found Banbury who's 35 yard shot beat the keeper for what could be regarded as goal of the season. The score was 5-1 at half time, and to their credit Lakenheath came out second half and worked hard and they scored a second late on. Eaton have now won six out of the last seven league games.
